Elida Trails & Eco-Lodge - Monteverde

We had an amazing time at this cozy lodge surrounded by nature. The cabins were simple but comfortable, with clean sheets and cozy beds. The location was perfect, with the cloud forest just a short bus ride away and a delicious Italian restaurant nearby. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the trails on the property allowed us to see beautiful birds and butterflies.

The lighting in the cabins could be improved to provide better visibility, especially in the bathroom for shaving or doing makeup.

The breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to our day. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The location was fantastic, close to nature park and with access to their own nature trail where we could spot birds and wildlife.

The beds were a bit firm for my liking, and the walls were a bit thin. We could hear the people next to us quite clearly, which was a bit distracting.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to public transportation and taxis. The rooms have great windows overlooking a beautiful flower garden, perfect for observing wildlife. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are walking trails on the property and a night hike available for an additional fee. Continental breakfast is included, and you can upgrade for a small fee. The hotel also has an Italian restaurant on-site with a discount for guests. the rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, making for a great stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the location was perfect for me. I loved that the rooms had large windows overlooking a beautiful flower garden, where I could observe birds and insects. The hotel also had walking trails on the hotel, a bonus. The continental breakfast included in my stay was a nice touch, and I had the option to upgrade for a small fee. The hotel is also conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy to get around the area. I had a fantastic experience here.

The staff were friendly and were really nice too make us feel welcome, even remembering our names. They helped us organize tours and the night hike in the forest was a unique experience. The hotel grounds were fine, with monkeys, birds, and other wildlife right outside our door.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be more options.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist sowohl vom Stadtzentrum als auch von der Autobahn aus leicht zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, mit einem großen Fernseher und einem Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls schön und gepflegt. Die Lage des Hotels bietet zudem einen traumhaften Blick auf die Weser.

This hidden gem in a secluded forest location offers a truly unique experience. The hotel is surrounded by nature, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in their surroundings. The rooms, although basic, are clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of adventure. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to assist with any activities or excursions in the area. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning before heading out to explore the hotel's own nature trail.

Limited options for food and drink in the evenings may require guests to venture out into town for dinner.

Nothing to complain about at all.

I had a great two nights at a lovely place called El Bosque. The staff, especially Daniel, were helpful and informative. The cabin I stayed in had a double bed and a great shower with hot water and good pressure. I had the best two nights of sleep during my entire trip to Costa Rica. The night tour on the hotel grounds was a lot of fun, and I saw beautiful birds, frogs, spiders, and even a howler monkey. I also enjoyed dining at the Italian restaurant, Tramonti with a discount to El Bosque guests. The location was perfect for our short time there with several restaurants, a coffee shop, and a whole foods store nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were a bird watcher's paradise. I had an amazing stay at El Bosque Trails & Eco-Lodge and would highly recommend it.

Great surroundings, clean and comfortable rooms, knowledgeable and kind staff, convenient location, peaceful and quiet, beautiful grounds and nature walks, affordable price.

Had an amazing time during my Xmas vacation! Loved the spacious rooms with big windows offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. the strong hot showers in the morning were a great way to start the day. the breakfast spread was delicious, with typical Costa Rican dishes and freshly cut fruit. the location was perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants and bakeries. just a short drive away from the beautiful national parks. Staff was friendly and helpful, organizing all our activities and providing great recommendations.

The cabins were comfortable and clean, but a bit lacking in privacy as people walking past could see into the rooms. the staff made up for it with their friendliness and excellent service.
